From our family to yours
SIBA Residences is a family-owned, service-focused company providing residents a place to call home. Our goal is to ensure that, no matter how long you live somewhere, it feels like a safe and comfortable place to return each and every day. We currently serve our valued clientele in apartment buildings in New York's most sought-after neighborhoods. SIBA recently launched short-term, furnished rentals in Hell's Kitchen, and many of our award-winning rental buildings also include leased commercial space.
who we are
Founded and managed by the Abram family for four generations, SIBA believes in providing comfortable, contemporary homes at reasonable prices. Our pet-friendly elevator buildings include full-time doorman and live-in superintendent service, video security, laundry facilities, and many offer on-site storage, and bike rooms.
The Abram family immigrated to the United States from Afghanistan in the early 1950s, so the importance of finding a place to call home is part of the company and family history. Company founder Simon Ibrahim Ben Abraham, for whom the firm is named, and his son, Sam Abram, the past president of SIBA Management, entered the real estate business shortly after that. They purchased impressive buildings with solid bones and excellent locations and formed a rental property management company, expanding the portfolio as the right buildings came along.
Current president Edward Abram pivoted the company away from a property management mindset based on feedback from SIBA employees and tenants. He feels our residents shouldn't be managed but served. Today, Edward strives to preserve and grow the legacy of his late father and grandfather while ensuring SIBA Residences is the place people call home in New York City.
